DSK Music has released OranZe, a freeware VST instrument for Windows PC.

This gets 5 out of 5; very easy to use; hugely flexible; capable of great subtle, complex evolving pads - begs to be tweaked and use your mouse to alter the waveshape that DOESN’T create a C++ Runtime error on Windows, unlike another synth I could mention (not on this site though)! This is one of the best synthis around, you will become obsessed with it in minutes! Faultless, skilled porgramming and the GUI is easy on the eye, too.
actually it doesn’t even load here, gives me a c++ runtime error right away..
